Meet Your Assessor

Whether you want to reduce your environmental footprint, save on your power and water bills, make your home more comfortable, or if you just want to apply for a Green Loan, it is important to choose the right person to do your Home Sustainability Assessment. You don’t want someone who’s pushy, insisting you make changes you don’t want to, or someone who has very limited knowledge about sustainability. I believe my job is done well only if I give the home owner what they want and need. For me this is not just a job but an opportunity to help improve people’s lives, which means something different to everybody, and I respect that.

When I turn up for a Sustainability Assessment, I always ask the home owner what they expect and would like to accomplish with the assessment. Some say they just want to get it over and done with so they can apply for a Green Loan. Others want to reduce their impact on the environment. Still others want to reduce their electricity, gas, and water usage. I am happy to accommodate you whatever you wish to accomplish with the Assessment.

On a more personal level, I am married with two kids, Isaac 3 years old and Elizabeth 8 weeks old. I live in Hampton Park, which is between Dandenong and Cranbourne in Melbourne’s South East. Before becoming a Home Sustainability Assessor, I founded and operated an award winning online computer retail store for 7 years before selling it to free up my time to spend with my family. Before that I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology in Southern California. I enjoy permaculture sustainable gardening, computers, and I’m happiest when I make a positive contribution to people’s lives.
